Diet Diary Day 11

Today was enjoy my meals, but might not be very healthy, but I was really satisfied. Went to gym with my volleyball team, was doing some light weights, fast reps.

Food Intake:
9 am - 1 slice of wholemeal bread
10 am - 3/4 bowl of yong tao fu with beehoon
12 pm - Grilled chicken rice meal (includes some wedges and a cup of milk tea!)
5 pm - Tofu hotplate + half a bowl of rice
9 pm - Dry wanton noodles + half a cup of sugarcane with lemon

Woot so heavy meals...

Exercise Done:
Gym in school...
3 sets of bench press of 10kg per side, 10 reps per set
3 sets of incline situps, total of 60
3 sets of backrise, 20 per set, total 60
3 sets of squats, 12 per set
and some other etc exercises...

Total time taken in Gym is only 40mins to 1 hours... Lolx

Although the food was not quite helping to my diet, but I really enjoy it... GUILTY LOLX!

Diet Diary Day 10

Today Was not bad... I think I have not bad diet, and did exercise to the max. I went to gym in the morning before my FYP meeting, and really pushed to the max. Weird thing is that after I gym, I dun feel the sore... dunoe why cause I pushed till no strength. Ok nvm, lets review on my diet today.

Food Intake:
10 pm - 2 slices of wholemeal bread
1.30 pm - 1 plate of economical rice (1 steam egg, 1 egg with long bean and 1 chicken)
3 pm - 1 cup of soyabean milk without sugar
5 pm - 1 bowl of korean beef with rice
8.30 pm - 2 small bowls of home cooked rice (woot thats alot!)

Lolx, I just can't simply resist my mom's cooking, so ate 2 bowls of rice.
Ok thats quite alot of food, lets take a look at the exercise.

Exercise:
Went to gym and did all this...
Bench Press 5 sets ( 1 sets of 20kg per side, 2 sets of 17.5 per side, 1 set of 15 per side)
...and another 3 sets of failed bench press
(1 set of 5 of 20 kg per side, 1 set of 17.5kg per side, 1 set of 15kg per side)
60 Situps on inclined bench (3 sets)
3 sets of dumbbell flyes (10 per set)
3 sets of lats pulldown (8 per set)
and many many more...

Basically I spent 2 hours in the gym, and did weight training targeting the shoulders, chest and biceps area, and at the same time did some situps.

The most amazing thing of the day, my weight actually remained the same as 74.95kg ! Lolx...
I weighted myself today after gym, seems that my weight didn't increase... Ok Gtg!

Diet Diary Day 9

Another Terrible Day... Today was the day to send my grandma to Bright hill. Was abit emo and almost cried out, but manage to control. But the diet was terrible and got off my control again... Worst ting is that the original plan was to go gym with my Dragon boat friends, but ended up din get to do gym as we got chased out by the gym instructor as she said that there were too many people, so she din allow us to use the gym, dammit.

Exercise:
None.

Food Intake:
7.15 am - 2 lotus paste bao
10.15 am - 2 small plates of vegetarian beehoon, 1 small bowl of vegetarian porridge
1pm - 1 small bowl noodle (the one like barchor mee one with soup)
5.45 pm - Plain waffle
Here comes the terrible part of the diet...
8.30pm - 1 bowl of porridge with centry egg ,1 chicken wing, 1 share of fried oyster with egg.

... I ended up eating and felt very guilty. I plan tomorrow morning to go gym before Fyp meeting. And of course, I will take my weight there, hope I won't see anything higher than 76 please or else I might faint. 1 week of diet might just gone into the drain.

Now I just feel so guilty for eating oily stuff....
Diet Dairy Day 8 ( as on 13th October)

Another Day at my grandma's funeral, was not a good diet day too.

Exercises:
None.

Food Intake:
11am - soup with mushroom, hotdog and tomato (self cooked healthy soup)
3.30pm - Fish soup with half a bowl of rice
6 pm - 2 big lotus paste bao and 2 small char siew bao
7 pm - 1 fan-choi
8 pm- small serving of not healthy buffet food
10 pm - another serving of the same buffet food
10.30 pm - mango sago dessert.

Terrible right... went off course from 6pm onwards. And worst ting is that I got no exercise for the day, as I was at the funeral whole day after my UT.

Summary Of Diet For Week 1

Basically, for this week, I consider it to be a good start for me as I have not drank any soft or sweet or gas drinks for the week ( except for the 4 cups of milk ). I have also restrained myself from fried food, until sunday night during the buffet at my grandma's funeral.

I find that it is considered a good start, except for the fact that I still ended up eating fried food. There are still rooms for improvement for my diet, for example increasing workout time and load, and decreasing intake of food, and to remove fried food from the list entirely.

Thus I will work harder next week, hoping to meet my target of at least 70kg by the end of November 21st.

(Anyway I am still aching from yesterday's dragon boat training, showing that I put in my full effort for training lolx.)

Other Reflections

Ok, I shall talk abit about my grandma's funeral here too. Basically, I look at it this way. Although I am sad that she had left us, but in another way, it's a form of release for her. She is 93 years old, and recently her body has not been well. She wasn't able to breath, walk and talk like usual, and I can feel that she is really suffering. When I heard the news that she passed away, I was sad of course. But after really thinking, I think it might be better for her too. Although she has physically left us, but in our heart and mind, she will always be there.


I love you, and I will miss you, Grandma.

Diet Dairy Day 7 (UPDATED)

Ok maybe I should change the dairy name to the Gain weight Dairy of Keith...

Today was terrible, the diet was bad~
I was at the funeral the whole day and was quite free, so ate alot.

Food Intaken:
11am - 5/6 bowl of cuttlefish and peanut porridge + egg
1pm - 1/2 bowl if dry duck noodles
2pm - 1 small bowl home cooked porridge (got beadcurd, fishcake,chicken, etc )
4.30pm - 1 soya beadcurd with soyabead milk no sugar at all!
5pm - 2 small bowls of home cooked porridge (same as above)
8pm - Buffet (you dun wanna noe wads for buffet, its sinful!)
1am -Buffet again...(It went against my rule of no supper...)

Thats not all, there's dinner that is not added in which I will update later(updated)... And worst of all, take a look at below...

Exercise done:
None except for walking around the neighbourhood for 10 mins...

Deadmeat, I am sure getting FAT for sure... And tomorrow will most probably the same, I am sure going to get FAT for sure... Sianzz, this is really bad. Ok thats all got to go study for UT tomorow. (How am I going to slim down at this rate...)
Diet Dairy Day 6

Today was the worst day of the week, because my Grandmother just passed away. I was at the funeral until 12 midnight yesterday, so only updated blog today.

My Diet for the Day:
11 am - mix ingredients Rice 1/2 plate
6 pm - duck rice 1/2 plate
9 pm - Ee-Mian 1 bowl, 2 scoops of beehoon, 1 & 1/2 prata

Thats Alot For Dinner...

My Exercise for the Day:
Dragon boat Training
- 20 pullups (supported)
- 40 pushups
- 40 situps(35 effective ones, last 5 )
- Joggin for approximately 2 km
-1 & 1/2 hrs of Dragonboat rowing

Ok Thats about all for today. I gonna go to update tonight again... Going over the the funeral, Bye...

Diet Diary Day 5

Today is friday, and is the off day for my diet. But I did try to take note of wad I ate. Actually got no plans for exercise, but too bored so actually went to cycle for around an hour.

Exercise:
Casual Cycling for approximate 1 hour

Food Intake:
2 slice of bread with ham @ 11 Am
1 small bowl of noodles cooked myself @ 1pm
Strawberries @ 2pm (2 pcs) & 3 pm (5 pcs)
Steam Chicken with Porridge @ 4.30pm
Beef Soup with 3/4 bowl of rice @ 9pm
1 Otah With Bun @ 9 pm
1 Otah With Bun @ 10.30pm

Okay, I admit, I ate alot today, so sure getting fat... Dammit...
Ok tomorrow got Dragon boat practice, and I got to resume back to my diet plans...
Must work harder... 70 Kg Seems Further From Me compared to Yesterday...

Diet Dairy Day 4

Bloody Tired Today... But was a breakthrough today... For the past few years, today is the day where my weight drops below 75Kg... YES! Today after gym i go mesure my weight, it was fluctuating between 74.9 to 75 Kg , and went stable at 74.95Kg ! Keep It Up! Jiayou!

Exercises I Did Today:
Basically, went Gym for 1 and a half hours today
This are some of the things I did (Things I remember) :
Bench Press - 3 sets , 6 to 8 reps per set (15Kg x 2 sides 2 sets, 10Kg x 2 sides 1 set)
Supported Bench Press - 3 sets, 10 reps per set
(20Kg x 2 sides 1 set, 17.5Kg x 2 sides 1 Set, 15Kg x 2 sides 1 Set)
Barbell Curl - 3 sets, 10 reps per set (7.5 Kg x 2 sides 1 set)
Dumbbell Flyes - 3 sets, 10 reps per set (3.75 per sided dumbbells)
Dumbell Press - 3 sets of 10 reps per set (3.75 per sided dumbbells)
Dumbbell Curl - 3 sets of 8 reps per set (3.75 per sided dumbbells)
Some machine exercises...
10 mins of running in total, 2 Km total in distance
( 5 mins before I start workout, 5 mins after I finish working out )

Dun quite remember the rest, but the exercises dun feel the kick compared to tuesday ones...
Maybe still aching from tuesday workout, so today no strength to lift that heavy weights, so reduce the weights and dun feel the "feel" after workout, so dissapointing...

Ok Lets take a look at what I ate:
10.30 am - 3 slices of bread
12.30 pm - 1 plate of mixed vegetable rice (1 egg, 1 fish, 1 vegetable)
4 pm - 1 bowl of fish bee hoon soup, eaten half the beehoon
6.30 pm - 1 bowl of soybean curd without suger water( replaced with no sugar soybean milk )
7pm - Steamboat at home ( never eat rice, eat 1 small bowl of noodle, and alot of ingredients )

Dun tink my diet was good today, due to the steamboat, but I tink consider it to be not too bad ba... Hope My Weight Just Maintain Dun Go Up Again!

Diet Diary Day 3

Today's I also dunoe how to grade my diet, maybe u can grade for me, or consider it a tie on exercise and food.

Exercise Done:
Joggin before breakfast for 15-25 mins
(15 mins running, 10 mins waiting to traiffic light, buying of breakfast etc)
6 laps of swimming after breakfast
(Plan was to swim 10 laps, but due to time constraint got to reduce)
20 crunches
20 pushups

Looks not bad right, lets take a look at the food intake before we grade.

Food Intaken:
3/4 bowl of chicken & century-egg porridge for breakfast @ 11am
1 bowl of dumpling mee swa @ 1.30 pm
1 Grilled fish with Rice (from fish & co.) @ 5 pm
1/2 packet of noodles dry with mix ingredients @ 8.30pm

Actually the noodles was not in my plan... so very guilty after eating it...
NVM tomorow I am going Gym, so I am going to work double hard!
Hope my diet really will work... I wanna let my weight drop to 70kg by November End...

Day 2 of My Diet Program
Weight @ 10th August = 75.5 Kg
Target = 70Kg in 2 months

Food Eaten Today:
2 Slices Of Bread at 8pm
1 Bowl Of Duck Soup and 2/5 of bowl of rice (small) at 10 pm
1 banana, 1 apple and 1 slice of bread at 1pm
1 bowl of fish soup and 1/2 bowl of rice (small) at 3.30pm
1 slice of bread at 6 pm
1 bowl of fishball mincemeat beehoon (soup) at 8.30 pm
4.5 Litres of Water Drank

Looks alot hor..... But very easy get hungry....

Anyway, today went to gym with my DB club friends at redhill. Was really fun as I was able to keep fit, and after that when we went for dinner was also great! (Funny Jokes etc.)
Ok next!

Exercises Did today @ Gym:
6o Incline Situps
30 bench press (3 sets) with 15 Kg side/ 30kg total of free weights
10 bench press ( 1 set ) With 20Kg per side/ 40kg total of free weights
30 Barbell curl (3 Sets) With 10kg per side / 20 kg total of free weights
Rowing Machine 2 sets with a target of 350m each time
Treadmil running for 10 mins for 1.6km ( Run another time for 3 mins and stopped )
Some machines ( i dunoe name one ) exercise here and there,
the chest machine! 2 sets , 1 set at 70 , another set at 90
the push upward machine 1 set at 45,
the back lats machine at 45-50 1 set ( dun remember too much )
and lastly the shoulder machine 1 set at 40.

Not bad hor... quite equivilant to my intake of food.
Ok got to sleep early... Tomorow will be another day of my diet! Jiayou!

Day 1 Of My Diet Program
Today I have Keep To My Diet As I Planned... Well Done!
What I Ate :
2 slice of bread for breakfast,
1 apple and 1 papaya at 10pm,
Fish beehoon (plain soup) at 11am ,
Fish beehoon again at 4.30pm,
and lastly 2 slices of bread after my Volleyball training at 10pm.

Only thing that went wrong was that I shouldn't eat the bread after the training, should eat fruits instead.

Exercises I Did Today:
Volleyball training
During training did this...
40 pushups,
40 legrise,
50 situps,
100 stepstairs ( the one where u step up and down the stairs in fast pace )
and after training, did this on my own...
I sprint and run for around 5-10 mins (for approximately 1 - 1.2km i guess not too sure )
And another leisure high intensive dance session for 20 mins. LOLX

Guess Overall today should be considered a good start for my diet, now the only problem is how to maintain. Gonna try a new way tomorrow by adding in a new exercise which is to slow jog 30 mins before breakfast and school. (Provided I Can Wake Up Tat Early!)
Also going to Gym tomorrow with my dragonboat team.

Extra : Surprisingly, My coach actually put me in the court for 1 set. I wonder if the sun is going to rise from west side tomorrow? I thought in his eyes only got the year 1s nowadays, while year 3s like me are no longer important since we are graduating, and the year 1s are our main attacking power...

First Major Event Of Dragonboat

Today was my first event of dragonboat after 3 months of training. The feeling and experience was great!! ( Was Tiring too...) Was fun as it is really 1 of a kind experience where boat clashes and paddles fight! Anyway forgot to tell you all I was participating in the 10km challenge ( Long distance rowing ).


There was this part of the race, not long after the race started, our boat got sandwich to the wall by this other team, den another boat clash up from the back! Then the paddles were all cramped up! So fun! After we got out of the situation, it was the long and endure part of the race, where we keep rowing, and rowing, and rowing! Anyway, the race was more of like between my team, the tanglin dragons, vs the PA dragons! There is another story behind the 2 teams, regarding the seniors of the team, so the whole race my team's target was like to overtake and win the PA dragons! Lolx! Ok thats all for the story, and I will add on some pictures!
